The FORMULA

It seemed so perfect. Fantastic location, great timing, good people. We looked almost set to drive home with the Pinnacle.

But like everyone who watched Massa's extraordinary twist of fate at the F1 last Sunday, I pity the loss. It looked like a stupid technical error, but conveyed the necessity of being 100% accurate and quick so as not to incur a miss. Tempest behaves like the Ferrari pit crew who grew more cautious at Massa's second pit, flagging off the driver only after confirming that the fuel pipe was fully off the vehicle. It probably cost them half a seond loss but what's that to prevent a worse-off penalty drive-through? Rather than working crazily hard or frantically scrimping on every cent to cope with huge monthly payouts, it could be safer just to forgo the opportunity and await an even better one.

Then again, it may just slipped you by. Kimi worked hard to inch his way back up to the top 5s after losing ground in the first half of the race. It was almost optimistic that he could squeeze into the top 3 positions. .BUT! He had to lose his wheels at a turn in his attempt to overtake. He was already in his last few laps! SIGH! How unsympathetic the unknown forces were, to push him out of the league. I fear I would face the same undesirable fate, having to sit around and struggle with a mis-calculation.

Would the second choice do better than the first? Nobody could say Massa performed better than kimi even though he finshed all of 61 laps, albeit being last.

Alas... I hope I could do an 'Alonso' and reverse totally a seemingly hopeless situation to a winning one. Looks like I still can't get over the Pinnacle. :-(
