The most unexpected call
Incoming call.....Caller: "Hi, I am Paulyn from Citibank. Remember me? "
ME: "Oh.. Yar!"
Caller: "I understand your credit card was declined last month. I checked it out for you already. It's because they cannot verify your employment because you didn't fill in your office telephone number.."
ME: "What? So they just need my office number?" *disbelief*
Caller: "Yar... The last time you apply through the 1-hour processing service, thus they got no time to verify your employment. But you can just give me your office number and I will appeal for you."
ME: "Oh.. Ok lor.. My office number is XXXX XXXX"
GOSH! My card application was declined for the most unimaginable reason! Silly bank!
Though they are still very nice to check out for me (despite only doing so one month later)... ah.. or maybe only Paulyn.. Paulyn from Citibank.. Note... PAULYN from silly-bank.
